My name is Chen - which means Grace
Having grown up in a home full of life, love, animals, music, dance, and art. I have always been fascinated by the human body,
the beauty of movement, erotics, and love in any form. Researching touch and love for years. I loved, was injured, was hurt, was healed, and dared to live life totally.
I studied Art, Photography, Visual Design, and Advertising at the Vital Art College ( Shenkar ).
Working for 25 years as a senior Art director, in some well-known advertising companies. I then ran an independent design and branding business. There I created successful worldwide and award-winning campaigns, in branding and designing in the fashion industry.
Continued to research femininity and work with great passion, trying to show the beauty of eroticism, nudity, or touch in every project.. Very often I found myself confused, by fear and resistance, against a frightened and unbalanced world.
There were years, when I concealed these feelings, afraid of being myself, but the fire within me continued to burn and would not let go.
Then I knew that I had to do something significant with the hoard inside of me.
I had to create, to burst out, to speak about it and to heal the place within me and in the world.
The very first time that I touched the material, the creatures appeared fully and completely.
I sat back observing them, not understanding who could possibly have created this! It happened so quickly, as they were so impatient to emerge.
Every statue is a long breath and sigh of relief, from another part of me, to whom I have given life, love and the ability to express itself,
This astonished me, as at last, the world understands me, they are able to touch fearlessly and at last, are awakening.
Something began to happen, like a healing ripple, a deep animal awakening. A memory of ourselves.
All the creatures are me. Forms that live within me. Moments captured in time. Emotions etched in my skin, fantasies, people who have touched me
Life circles of love and touch
Every project is a complex of emotions between me and my relationship with each form, in conversations, understandings, frustrations, and acceptances.
I love being a woman, a man, and an animal. The deeper I delve into creating, the more I become me
The world recognizes my creatures and I am no longer afraid
